• 610 ILCS 15/1.1This Act does not apply to railroads incorporated after July 1, 1985, or to railroads which are reincorporated under the Business Corporation Act of 1983, as amended
• 610 ILCS 15/2For every year that any such railroad corporation fails to comply with the provisions of Section 1 it shall be guilty of a business offense and shall be fined not less than $4,000
• 610 ILCS 15/3The fines hereinbefore provided for, may be recovered in an ordinary civil action in the name of the People of the State of Illinois
• 610 ILCS 15/4The Illinois Commerce Commission shall investigate and ascertain whether the provisions of this act are violated by any railroad corporation
• 610 ILCS 15/5All fines recovered under the provisions of this act shall be paid into the county treasury of the county in which the suit is tried, by the person collecting the same, in the manner now provided by law, to be used for county purposes
