Subsec. (a). Pub. L. 101–73, § 907(j)(1), substituted heading and pars. (1) and (2) for first two sentences which read as follows: “Any company which willfully violates any provision of this chapter, or any regulation or order issued by the Board pursuant thereto, shall upon conviction be fined not more than $1,000 for each day during which the violation continues. Any individual who willfully participates in a violation of any provision of this chapter shall upon conviction be fined not more than $10,000 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”
