Section 1134r-4 · Fellowship repayment provisions

A recipient of a fellowship under this part found by the Secretary to be in noncompliance with the agreement entered into under section 1134r 3(1) or 1134r 3(2) of this title shall be required to repay a pro rata amount of such fellowship assistance received, plus interest (but in no event at an interest rate higher than the rate applicable to loans in the applicable period under part B of subchapter IV of this chapter) and, where applicable, reasonable collection fees, on a schedule and at a rate of interest to be prescribed by the Secretary by regulations issued pursuant to this part.
