Suwanee is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The population was 8,725 at the 2000 Census. The City of Suwanee estimates in 2009 that approximately 16,600 people live within the City limits. Suwanee was the practicing home of the Atlanta Falcons football team from 1979 to 2001 and was voted among the Top 10 Best Places to Live by Money Magazine in 2007.
