Johnson Creek is a village in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,581 at the 2000 census. The village is located approximately halfway between Milwaukee and Madison, at the intersection of Wisconsin Highway 26 and Interstate 94. In keeping with the strong Wisconsin accent prevalent in the area, most locals pronounce the word, "creek," in the village name as, "crick," i.e. , "Johnson Crick."
