Navarre is a village in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,440 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Canton–Massillon Metropolitan Statistical Area. Navarre was the home of Orlando Poe, a United States Army officer in the American Civil War and an engineer who was responsible for much of the early lighthouse construction on the Great Lakes.
