Native Peoples Law is the area of law related to those peoples indigenous to the continent at the time of European colonization specifically Native Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaska Natives and other native groups. Attorneys who practice native peoples law handle cases involving disputes related to the limited power of the federal government to regulate tribe property and activity, and cases involving unlawful discrimination against native peoples.
Castleton is an unincorporated community in Rappahannock County in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is located approximately midway between Washington and Culpeper. Lorin Maazel maintains a house in Castleton, and has made it the focus of the Castleton Festival every summer.
