N.Y. Educ. Law § 8603

* § 8603. Practice as a clinical laboratory technician and\nhistological technician and the use of the titles "clinical laboratory\ntechnician" and "histological technician". No person shall practice as a\nclinical laboratory technician or as a histological technician or hold\nhimself or herself out as a clinical laboratory technician or a\nhistological technician in this state unless he or she is certified or\nexempt pursuant to this article, provided that an individual licensed as\na clinical laboratory technologist, cytotechnologist, or clinical\nlaboratory technician may practice the profession of histological\ntechnician.\n * NB Effective until January 17, 2023\n * § 8603.
