* § 3397-b. Definitions. As used in this article:\n 1. "Cannabis" means cannabis as defined in section 222.00 of the penal\nlaw and shall also include tetrahydrocannabinols or a chemical\nderivative of tetrahydrocannabinol.\n 2. "Physician" means a person licensed to practice medicine in the\nstate of New York including a person authorized to practice medicine in\na federal medical facility in the state.\n 3. "Hospital" means a hospital as defined in section twenty-eight\nhundred one of this chapter.\n * NB Repealed May 20, 2026\n
